Keeping Beer At It’s Best

Our team recently completed the installation and commissioning of a new J&E Hall beer cellar, replacing an older system that had become inefficient, unreliable, and costly to run. Like many legacy cellar systems, the previous equipment was operating well below modern efficiency standards, using more energy than necessary to maintain beer temperatures.

The new J&E Hall system incorporates high-efficiency refrigeration components, improved system design, and modern controls, allowing it to cool more effectively while running at a lower load. In typical installations of this type, upgrading from an older cellar system can deliver energy savings of around 25%, significantly reducing ongoing electricity costs.

In addition to lower energy consumption, the new system provides improved temperature consistency, reduced strain on components, and greater long-term reliability: protecting both the beer quality and the customer’s investment.
